In partnership with the Texas Ramp Project, our Fishermen’s Class donates time building ramps for diabled or elderly people who can’t afford to buy one.

Texas Ramp Project is a non-profit organization that builds wheelchair ramps to clients in Texas at no cost!

Eligibility Requirements

Clients must meet both of the following criteria:

Medical Necessity

• Verified medical need for a ramp
• Documented mobility issues (wheelchair/walker) or other disabilities
• Isolation concerns (e.g. living alone and/or unable to exit home safely)

AND

Financial Need

• Demonstrated financial hardship preventing the client from affording a ramp

Priority is given to clients who:

• Have urgent medical or mobility needs
• Are unable to safely exit their homes
• Demonstrate significant financial hardship

Accurate, detailed referrals help in serving clients with the greatest need efficiently.

Funds to support this effort are raised by donations from individuals, churches, civic clubs and organizations. When donors give through texasramps.org, they can designate which county the donation will be used in.
